Resolved Question: Why do people use drugs?

I smoke weed and i would never smoke cigarettes. Im terrified of anything stronger than weed. But im just wondering why do people do it cause i know people who have done meth and didnt get addicted and stuff but like i would ask and them why and they would be like i dont know so i started to think peopel who do it are just stupid except people in other places like ghettos i undestand that since i grew up in Camden, NJ but like i dont understand why...
